Senior Pictures can be fun!

It's another day in photography land.

Today I have some photos from a Graduate shoot (aka Senior Pictures) I did with a young lady named Gianni. Gianni made my job a piece of cake! She was a natural in front of the camera for sure. :) I'm not a huge fan of the same old boring senior pics so I try to spice it up a little while still grabbing some of the traditional photos you need.

Family Fun just in time for Father's Day!

Here's my latest family portrait session. We shot at the Riverwalk in Pueblo, Co. It was beautiful day (although maybe a little on the warm side).

The Cook family wanted to do some family pictures before Kyle deployed. They were a lot of fun! Their two sweet little girls weren't big fans of sitting down for posed shots (who can really blame them right?) so we got a lot of cute candid shots of them instead.

Welcome to my blog folks!

So welcome to the first official blog post for my website www.amyhansenphoto.com!

Let me start by telling you a bit about myself. I'm a photographer living in Pueblo, Co. I do a lot of work around Colorado Springs and Denver as well but I'm pretty much willing to go anywhere as long as my travel expenses are paid for.

I generally specialize in photography people but I do also enjoy fine art photography. I've been married to an awesome guy named Terry for 6 years and we have a really cute Cocker Spaniel named Isabella (who Terry convinced me we should call Isa for short).

Up top is me and my hubby Terry at a friend's house. Isn't he dreamy? And under that you can see our doggy Isa getting introduced to her new friend Riley (my sister in law's new puppy).
